Explore the Forest of Dean on a Creative Detectives session, hunting out colours, unearthing textures, discovering artworks on the Sculpture Trail, then creating your own piece of natural sculpture. You will learn a little about the history of the local woodland, plus the Forestry Commission who manage it. The session takes place around Beechenhurst Lodge in the heart of the Forest of Dean, where there is ample parking, toilets and cafe.
Alternatively, this session can also be delivered in the beautiful countryside of Hanley Farm Shop, Tidenham, near Chepstow or even in your own school grounds if you prefer.
Prices start from just £4 per pupil (based on a class of 30 pupils).
Creative Detectives are available to book throughout the year, but please check availability before your visit and book early to avoid disappointment.
